UK Plumber Wins £1 Million Jackpot In EuroMillions

A plumber from Stratford is celebrating with friends and family after scooping a £1 million win thanks to the EuroMillions lotto.

The first thing Aaron Fawden did after bagging £1 million was buy a round of drinks for everyone at his local pub, The College Arms. He was at work when he received his winning news; “I’d just been told I was a millionaire and the rest of the day was just bit of a daze," he said.

He was so shocked after receiving the news that we was unable to finish the job that he was working on; “I didn’t finish the job but the customer was fine about things, it isn’t every day you win a million pounds," he told a local newspaper.

After being presented with his cheque by the National Lottery, he said that he plans of buying a new house, invest money for his children and treat his parents. However, he doesn't plan on retiring just yet!

Aaron won his prize on a EuroMillions Milionaire Maker draw that was held on April 10th.
